The conditions that apply when you use this website, download our resources, or access the practitioner portal.
This website is operated by Power Phrase System (“PPU”, “we”, “us”, “our”), ABN 55 260 040 085, Warabrook NSW 2304, Australia. By accessing or using this website, downloading our resources, or accessing the practitioner portal, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
PPU is a structured social-emotional learning (SEL) card resource that a qualified practitioner integrates into their own evidence-based practice with children aged 6–12.
PPU cards are educational SEL tools. They are not a substitute for professional psychological assessment, diagnosis, or treatment. PPU is a practitioner-led resource, not a stand-alone intervention, and it does not act on its own. Any outcomes depend on the professional judgement of the practitioner using it within their own scope of practice.
This website is intended for adults — in particular psychologists, counsellors, therapists, allied-health professionals and educators. The practitioner portal is restricted to registered or appropriately qualified practitioners. You must not share portal login credentials, and you are responsible for keeping them secure. We may suspend or withdraw access where these terms are breached.
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorised access to any part of it, or use it in any way that breaches applicable laws. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time without notice.
All content on this website — including the card system, deck structure, text, images, downloadable documents, and the Power Phrase System name and branding — is owned by or licensed to PPU and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view the site and download materials we make available for your own professional evaluation and practice. You must not reproduce, redistribute, resell, sublicense or commercially exploit our content without our prior written permission.
Documents we provide for download (such as the Clinical Brief and Theoretical Foundations) are made available for professional information and evaluation. They describe the frameworks the resource draws on; they are not a claim of independent efficacy and do not constitute clinical, legal or professional advice.
If you take part in the founding practitioner pilot, you receive the resource at no cost in exchange for honest feedback that helps build the evidence base. Participation is voluntary and subject to any additional pilot terms we provide. Where the pilot involves gathering feedback, case examples or pre/post data, this is done only with appropriate consent. Any testimonial or review is published only with your separate written consent, and you may withdraw that consent at any time.
You remain solely responsible for your own clinical and professional decisions, for working within your scope of practice and applicable regulatory and ethical obligations, and for obtaining any consents required in your own work with children and families. Nothing on this site replaces your professional judgement.
The website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness or suitability of the content for any particular purpose, and we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content.
Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or other laws that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
The site may link to or rely on third-party services (such as our hosting, email and analytics providers). We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party websites or services, which are governed by their own terms and policies.
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the “last updated” date shown above. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
